Por definici\u00f3n un saros son 223\u00a0meses sin\u00f3dicos\u00a0(S) (periodo de una\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Luna_nueva\">Luna nueva<\/a>\u00a0a la siguiente). Conocido desde hace miles de a\u00f1os, es una manera de predecir futuros eclipses. Como en el saros 136 hubo\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Eclipse_solar_del_22_de_julio_de_2009\">eclipse solar el 22 de julio de 2009<\/a>, el pr\u00f3ximo con la misma serie ser\u00e1 el\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Eclipse_solar_del_14_de_octubre_de_2023\">14 de octubre del 2023<\/a>.
